EUROPEAN-ASIAN FILM FORUM
EFM

The audiovisual industry is entering a period of rapid change, shaped by new formats, shifting narratives, and evolving production practices—many of which are emerging strongly across Asian markets. In recent years, we have seen the growth of (vertical) micro-dramas, the experimentation with interactive and immersive storytelling, live-action drama formats influenced by game logic, the expansion of branded content production, and the increasing use of AI in film production. Together, these developments are changing not only how content is told, but how it is produced, financed, and circulated.

These changes are not isolated trends. They point to a broader transformation of the production landscape, where the boundaries between film, series, interactive media, and commercial content are becoming less defined, and where producers are increasingly required to rethink established workflows and production models.

In collaboration with the European Film Market (EFM), the producers’ association Bridging Visions (formerly Bridging the Dragon) is reshaping its European–Asian Film Forum to reflect on these developments. Taking place on 16 February, the event will begin with a panel discussion and continue with a more hands-on workshop to explore new creative, financial, and collaborative opportunities and their impact on the future of content and film production.

This panel will bring together Ron Dyens, Founder of Sacrebleu Productions and Oscar- and Golden Globe-winning producer (Flow, 2025); In-Ah Lee, German-Korean producer and Head of Asian Operations at Markenfilm Group, specialized in branded content and working across feature films, television, documentaries, and commercials; and Vivian Wang, Head of Content at Crisp Momentum, a new micro-drama platform aiming at expanding into the European market. The discussion will be led by Martin Moszkowicz, one of Germany’s most influential producers and former CEO of Constantin Film, whose credits include the Resident Evil franchise, the Fack ju Göhte trilogy, and many other global successes.

From a practical and strategic perspective, the panel will explore how producers are responding to a changing industry and how emerging practices can open new paths for cooperation, co-production, and shared storytelling between Asia and Europe, at a moment when audiovisual production is being actively reshaped.
