ABOUT US

Bridging Visions e.V. was established in 2014 as a non-profit organization with the primary mission of fostering connections between European audiovisual professionals and their counterparts in Asia, intially focusing on China and later expanding to the wider region.

It organizes events at major international film festivals, provides networking opportunities and offers consultancy on producing films between Europe and Asia.

Through its network, Bridging Visions intends to contribute to a better understanding between the Asian and European markets and to create stronger, better targeted content as well as new business collaborations, at a time when the audiovisual industry is undergoing rapid change driven by new formats, shifting narratives, and evolving production practices.

Bridging Visions is the official partner of the European Film Market of the Berlinale for their Asia-related events and has collaborated with festivals and markets such as Cannes, Locarno, Venice, Rome, Kalory Vary, Hong Kong Filmart, China Golden Rooster, Shanghai, Xi'an Silk Road and Xining FIRST.
