This year at Cannes, we were pleased to support two key events at the Marché du Film 2025, each highlighting new avenues for European-Asian collaboration in the global film industry.

Mongolian Films Pitch Session
Friday, 16 May | 10:00-12:00

Organised by the Mongolian National Film Council, this dedicated pitch event introduced four Mongolian film projects in development to an international audience. The session also presented an overview of Mongolia’s expanding support schemes for international collaboration, including a reimbursement incentive of up to 45% for foreign productions shooting in the country—positioning Mongolia as an emerging player in global co-production.

Panel Discussion-Exploring China’s New Billion-Dollar Film Boom
Tuesday, 20 May | 11:30–13:00
Presented by the China Film Association, this high-profile panel gathered leading voices from China’s film industry to discuss the forces driving its domestic box office and the role of international partnerships moving forward.
